Why oh why do half the fics I check out lately have grey text on a white background. It's so fucking annoying, Jesus my eyes don't need to bleed. People have always done it but lately half the fics that aren't from my regulars are like this, easiest way to get me to backspace, I've even backspaced on a couple that I was really interested in reading BAH!

I will be working as a polling official at the state election, got the call today, I'm pretty excited about it actually, it'll be a bloody long day but it's something to do.

So my brother has failed one of his subjects, it's not official yet but even if he got 100% on the exam he couldn't pass, that's a bummer. He actually asked me if I thought it was worth going to the exam and I thought it would be more hassle to not go because they would probably call or something wondering if he was alive.

Dibbles has learned to jump up on the kitchen benches. In the past week he has smashed a bowl and a vase, he also was trying to eat something that had onion in it (onion is toxic to cats). I'm going to skin him one of these days. Damn cat.

Went and saw 30 seconds to mars last night, I had a lot of fun, the second half was much better than the first half though that was probably because I got out of the mosh pit and was able to breathe and not having to concentrate on not falling over. I am sore all over, my feet have some nice bruises from getting crushed while in the mosh pit, I had to take my shoes off and hold them because I was going to lose them, at one point I was talking to/squashed up against a chick who said that her shoes were lost. I have some how managed to pull my right bicep and I don't even know how. The support band were fucking terrible, when they announced their last song everyone cheered then laughed, then we had to wait 45 minutes for 30 seconds to mars to come out, I started out left of the middle but got pushed out to the right hand side eventually thought that was cool because I was closer to Shannon then. Couldn't see much sometimes, tall guys should not be allowed to go anywhere near the front, I'm average height for a chick but I still can't see a bloody thing, only got a couple glimpses of Tomo but he had his hair all over his face and so I feel like I didn't really see him, Tim buzzed around like a crazy person and Jared was his usual self all over, so many people were surprised when he went to do the acoustic set in the middle of the crowd, maybe I just spend too much time on the internet. I appreciate Jared apologizing for taking 4 years to get back to Australia but he also said that they will be back for Soundwave and I have already checked out that it's on March 4 next year, I'll just have to keep an eye on it because festivals sell out so damn quick. I bought one shirt, red with a wolf and 'I believe in nothing but the truth and who we are' on it and a triad necklace, I wanted a hoodie because I love them but at $100 I am not made of money.

Got dragged to an audition for Deal Or No Deal today, had to fill out a form that asked questions like three words to describe yourself, what is your luckiest moment, what is the best thing you have bought with $10 or less, what would you send various amounts of money on. Then there was an interview where you have to be all bubbly and shit and tell them why you should be the ones they pick to be the case opener. They told us it takes between 2 and 12 months to be called up and if you haven't been called up by then you haven't been chosen.

Listening to 30 seconds to mars on the radio right now doing an interview, funny as usual, their answer to how they got their name is funny and now they have completely cracked up talking about Shannon getting an erection on stage, wonderful. Will have to see if I can grab the podcast.

Free public transport tomorrow and it's the one day this week I don't need to go anywhere :(

Going to watch Rush, bloody good Aussie show.

Went to a 3rd birthday party today, was traveling home on the train at 11pm and I got fined about $170 for having my feet up on the seat. Sitting quietly reading a book resting on my legs, I had my thongs/flip flops resting on the seat in front of me when a plain clothes inspector asked for my ticket, I showed it to him, he said it was fine but I had my feet on the seat and proceeded to ask me for all my ID and why I had my feet up, to rest my book, I'm tired, the seats are a lot more comfortable sitting like this.

As you may be able to guess I'm fucking pissed off, how in the fuck is that worth $170. It's not like I'm taking up the seat that someone could be sitting in when there are only a couple people in the carriage, I'm not damaging the seat, the thongs are rubber and the buttons on my jeans are much more likely to do damage to the seat, I'm not doing any anti-social behaviour, graffiting or cutting up the seats, I'm not even eating or drinking and getting food all over the seats.

Fuck you, how about putting effort into actually catching people who are doing something that negatively impacts the system, the ones who actually graffiti the seats and windows, break things and make you want to get off at the next station and just wait for the next train because a fight is going to break out soon rather than alienating people who use the system in good faith.

When I get my fine I'm writing a letter and I better fucking get out of it because $170 does not fit my supposed fucking crime, if it was $20 I would probably pay it no worries, but $170 who in hell is running this fuckery.

No I'm just playing, finally got myself a livejournal, yeah just when I need another distraction. At the moment in my real life I'm inspecting lots of apartments and houses trying to find somewhere to live, my brother is moving to the city for uni and I want to get away from my current housemate so badly, oh did I mention that my brother starts uni in a week and I've been to a couple dozen inspections only to put in 2 applications for not great places both of which were knocked back, going great.

I'm also unemployed at the moment, to be fair it's because I want to be and I haven't been looking for a job and I'm okay for money so it's not a big problem but I do want to get one soon, I need something to fill my days and not just lurk around the internet, got stuck watching cute animals on you tube for a couple hours the other day.

So what am I into you may ask, well I do what I love and fuck everything else, other than that at the moment I'm totally into 30 Seconds to Mars they are my main love right now and anything that has something to do with them, I'll love Merlin when it comes back on and I'll always love Supernatural even if the fandom is batshit insane, actually I caught up on 8 episodes the other night because my local station has cancelled it even though the ratings weren't that bad. I watch a lot of movies and have an ever growing DVD collection, I'll watch most things but I prefer action (not happy unless something blows up) and I'm not really into chick flicks. I'm currently reading Wolf of the Plains by Conn Iggulden but going very slowly, that's how I usually read books because I spend too much time reading fanfiction particularly slash, love it.
